3: Chain 1, double every 3rd stitch, slip stitch (16)
4: Chain 1, double every 4th stitch, slip stitch (20)
5-8: Chain 1, single crochet, slip stitch (20)
9: Chain 1, crochet every 4th and 5th stitch together, in between single crochet, slip stitch (16)
10-12: Chain 1, single crochet, slip stitch (16)
13: Chain 1, crochet every 3rd and 4th stitch together, in between single crochet, slip stitch (12)
14-16: Chain 1, single crochet, slip stitch (16)

Pull out the thread and fill the carrot with cotton wool.

17: Chain 1, crochet every 2nd and 3rd stitch together, in between single crochet, slip stitch
18: Chain 1, crochet two stitches together

Sew the hole together with a wool needle.

Crochet 3x green:

Chain 20

Sew on all three chains in the center of the carrot.
